# Report Sections at a glance

When building a report, you add sections — each section pulls data from a specific domain. This page lists all available sections, what data they contain, and what report types they support.

## <mark style="color:purple;">Mission / Person / Unit / Team</mark>

These four sections share the **same underlying data** — they differ only in which filter appears first (by Mission name, by person, by unit, or by team). Choose whichever matches your primary analysis angle.

**Filters:** Missions, Mission Tags, Teams, Units, Tickets, People, Groups, Processes.

**Report types:**

<table><thead><tr><th width="228.6666259765625">Type</th><th>What it shows</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>Running</td><td>Open and Claimed instances with live timers</td></tr><tr><td>Closed</td><td>Completed Missions with timing, ratings, and metadata</td></tr><tr><td>Short Execution</td><td>Missions closed faster than the reporting threshold</td></tr><tr><td>Overdue</td><td>Missions exceeding the reporting threshold (filterable by specific date within range)</td></tr><tr><td>Canceled</td><td>Canceled instances with person and board info</td></tr><tr><td>Response Analysis</td><td>Question-by-question breakdown of answers</td></tr><tr><td>Reference Dashboard</td><td>Grouped by reference units</td></tr></tbody></table>

Each type splits into **Mission**, **Ticket**, and **Response** sub-sections with tabs for [Team vs. Personal boards, and Unit vs. Organization ticket boards](/mobile-app/your-mobile-boards.md).

### Closed report features

The Closed report includes two additional viewing modes:

**Daily Distribution** — switch to a day-by-day breakdown within your selected date range. Pick a week, then see Posted, Closed, and Closed % for each day. Group by Unit, Team, or Mission. Click any row to jump to its detailed Closed report. Available for all Mission sections.

**Gallery View** — a visual proof review mode. When enabled, Closed Missions are grouped by Mission name, showing every photo and video proof submitted. Each proof displays the timestamp, the question it answers, and who submitted it. Useful for quality audits where you need to review physical evidence across all instances.

## <mark style="color:purple;">Ticket</mark>

Focuses on [Ticket](/missions/what-are-missions/ticket.md) activity — when Tickets were triggered, by whom, resolution time, and connected Missions.

**Report types:** Running, Closed, Short Execution, Overdue, Canceled.

## <mark style="color:purple;">Ticket Board</mark>

Analyzes Ticket Board-level metrics — backlog volume, resolution trends, and board-level performance across Unit and Organization boards.

## <mark style="color:purple;">Test</mark>

Analyzes [Test Mission](/missions/what-are-missions/test.md) results with scoring, pass/fail rates, and question-level breakdown.

**Report types:** Test (always included), Running, Closed, Canceled, Short Execution, Overdue.

The **Test report** includes:

* **Closed** — each instance with its score, pass/fail result, points earned, and timing
* **Running** — Tests currently Open or Claimed
* **Canceled** — canceled Test instances grouped by Mission and Person

**Report Summary sidebar** — click the summary icon to see aggregated Test statistics:

<table><thead><tr><th width="167.333251953125">Section</th><th>What it shows</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td><strong>Summary</strong></td><td>People assigned, attendance rate (closed vs. total expected), average pass rate, and a trend chart over time</td></tr><tr><td><strong>Pass by Tag</strong></td><td>Pass percentage broken down by question tag — shows which topic areas employees struggle with</td></tr><tr><td><strong>Performance by Person</strong></td><td>Individual pass rates — click a person to filter the report to their results</td></tr></tbody></table>

Score colors follow the thresholds configured in the Mission's [Test settings](/missions/how-to-guides/configure-mission-settings.md#test-and-audit-specific).

## <mark style="color:purple;">Audit</mark>

Similar to Test but for Audit-type Missions — compliance scores with results shown in both points and percentages.

**Report types:** Audit (always included), Running, Closed, Canceled, Short Execution, Overdue.

The **Audit report** columns include: name, reference, pass score, percentage, points, tag, board, timing, related Tickets, and Ticket status. Results can be represented as absolute values, percentages, or both — depending on the Mission's Audit settings.

## <mark style="color:purple;">Process</mark>

Analyzes automated workflows and their Activities. Four viewing modes:

<table><thead><tr><th width="216.6666259765625">Mode</th><th>What it shows</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td><strong>Process Details</strong></td><td>Full breakdown of every Activity, status, and timestamp</td></tr><tr><td><strong>Process Summary</strong></td><td>Card-view of completed Processes with key stats</td></tr><tr><td><strong>Average Duration</strong></td><td>Color-coded bars showing how long each Activity takes</td></tr><tr><td><strong>Activity Frequency</strong></td><td>How often each Activity is triggered — helps find bottlenecks</td></tr></tbody></table>

**Additional report types:** Overdue, Short Execution, Process Missions, Process Tickets, Test, and Response Analysis — each filtered to show only data from Process Activities.

## <mark style="color:purple;">Statistics (Performance & Points)</mark>

Two reports focused on **people and productivity** rather than individual Mission instances. Unlike other sections, you don't select specific Missions — you select people, teams, and units, and the system calculates aggregated metrics.

**Filters:** Mission type, People, Units, Teams, Ticket Boards.

### Performance Report

Tracks team and individual productivity. Metrics include:

<table><thead><tr><th width="279.3333740234375">Metric</th><th>What it measures</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td><strong>Posted / Closed / Closed %</strong></td><td>How many Missions were scheduled vs. completed</td></tr><tr><td><strong>Closed Trend</strong></td><td>Change in Closed % compared to the same prior period</td></tr><tr><td><strong>Work Quality</strong></td><td>Average peer rating score</td></tr><tr><td><strong>Objectivity Rating</strong></td><td>Rating consistency when evaluating others</td></tr></tbody></table>

Grouped by the report item you select: People, Unit, Team, Organization, or Ticket Board. Supports daily distribution for week-over-week comparison.

### Points Report

Tracks how reward points are earned across the organization:

<table><thead><tr><th width="287.333251953125">Metric</th><th>What it measures</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td><strong>All Points</strong></td><td>Total points available to earn</td></tr><tr><td><strong>Won Points</strong></td><td>Points actually earned</td></tr><tr><td><strong>Won %</strong></td><td>Percentage of available points earned</td></tr><tr><td><strong>Points Trend</strong></td><td>Change in Won % compared to the same prior period</td></tr></tbody></table>

Same grouping options and daily distribution as Performance. Helps answer: "Which teams earn the most points?", "Which Missions contribute most to point totals?", and "Are point-earning trends improving or declining?"

## <mark style="color:purple;">Public Interface</mark>

Analyzes responses from external users who completed Missions via shared links or [QR codes](/missions/how-to-guides/share-a-mission-with-external-users.md). Tracks link usage, completion rates, and response data per public interface.

## <mark style="color:purple;">Training</mark>

Tracks [Course](/training-and-certification/what-are-courses.md) completion — who completed which Courses, pass/fail status, and progress across the organization.

## Good to know

* You can combine **multiple sections** in a single report — e.g. Mission + Ticket + Process + Statistics in one view
* Each section is independently configurable with its own filters and report types
* All report tables support **export to Excel** and **Group By** reorganization
* The **Risk Summary** toggle adds a visual overview showing the percentage breakdown of posted Missions by category (Team Missions, Personal Missions, Tickets) — click any segment to filter to that data
* Mission Tags can be used as a filter in all Mission-related sections — when you tag Missions in the Library, those tags are available here for filtering and appear as a column in report tables

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://documentation.taskmaverick.com/analytics-and-monitoring/reporting/report-sections-at-a-glance.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
